San Francisco news, California news.

A San Francisco troubled dad has committed suicide after gunning down his beloved 9-year-old son a day after he agreed to have him vaccinated.

Stephen O’Loughlin, 49, was discovered dead on Wednesday along with his son Pierce who had never received vaccinations in his life due to his dad’s obsession.

Lesley Hu, the child’s mom, and O’Loughlin’s ex-wife said that the father believed in conspiracy theories including that vaccines are meant to control minds.

  • “His stance on vaccinations has taken on a cult-like tone,” she said in a court filing adding that more recently, O’Loughlin claimed “government was out to get us and was trying to mind-control us,” through the Covid jabs.

“I think it is undeniable that Pierce’s father suffered from untreated mental illness, which resulted in his taking the life of his son and his own life,” Hu’s attorney said following the tragedy.

“Pierce wasn’t killed because of a disagreement over a stuffy nose and he wasn’t killed because of a disagreement regarding vaccinations. He was killed for much more complex reasons.”
