DC news, Washington news.

President Joe Biden confirmed that his predecessor left him a letter before departing the White House early Wednesday.

Donald Trump may have skipped Biden’s inauguration ceremony and avoided citing his name during his farewell speeches but he indeed left a note for the new Oval Office’s holder.

“The president wrote a very generous letter,” Biden told reporters. “Because it was private, I won’t talk about it until I talk to him. But it was generous.”
