Dad who hid toddler’s body in freezer for 2 years did not report death because corpse had ‘bruising’

The father of a toddler had been charged with murder after the child’s remains were found in a freezer last May.

Kassceen Weaver, 49, faces a slew of serious criminal charges including murder, aggravated malicious wounding, child neglect, and concealment of a body after authorities discovered his son Eliel’s remains hidden in a freezer.

  • The Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the child was under the age of 5 and had passed away two years before police made the gruesome discovery. However, the cause of death remains under investigation.

    In addition to the previous charges, Weaver also faces domestic assault counts over the abuse he inflicted on his wife Dina Weaver.

    Dina was also charged with conspiracy and failure to render aid to her child. Her brother told police that she “was in a domestic violence situation” and that she did not call the police because her deceased son’s body had “bruising.”
