Human remains found in west Charlotte’s woods were positively identified as 30-year-old Miranda Springs, police said.
Springs’ distraught mom said her daughter vanished on Sept. 18, after parking outside a local bar. Her car was days later involved in a crash with, behind the wheel.
“My heart cries out for you every hour, every minute, every second,” the mom said. “I feel like I’m going to die.”
Springs’ body was found early Tuesday morning in a wooded area. Police have arrested a suspect, identified as Saafiq Jahquiel Hall, in connection with her death.
“I can’t believe someone would do this to another person,” a friend of Springs said. “My heart and prayers go out to your family beautiful girl.”
