Miami news, Florida news.

A Florida man was arrested Friday after he allegedly strangled two women to death and dumped the bodies, authorities said.

Carlos Yadiel Baez-Nieves, 25, admitted to strangling Fatia Flowers, 41, and Nichole Daniels, 44, whose bodies were discovered in March and April.

Baez-Nieves was arrested after detectives tracked down his “very distinctive” white Ford F-150 caught on surveillance video the night before Daniels' body was found.

Both victims were transient in the East Orlando area and grappled with drug use, the sheriff added.

“Because of our detectives’ relentless efforts in this case, they stopped Baez-Nieves from becoming a prolific serial killer.”
