Authorities in Jersey Village, Texas said that nine people were taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a car slammed into a restaurant.
The car driven by a 76-year-old woman crashed into Little Kitchen HTX on Dillard Drive near Highway 290 at 12:20 p.m., police said.

The nine victims ranged in age from 16 to 76. The driver was among the injured.
Jersey Village Police Chief Danny Keele said that at least one victim was in critical but stable condition.
He also revealed that the driver showed no signs of impairment. At this time, no charges are being filed against her.
