Police in Gwinnett County, Georgia are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after four people were found shot to death inside a vehicle parked at a local park early Wednesday.
Sgt. Michele Pihera said that a man and three children appeared to have gunshot wounds when they were discovered inside a parked car at around 1 a.m.
An officer patrolling Lucky Shoals Park made the grisly discovery inside a suspicious vehicle parked on a pedestrian trail.
The officer called out to the occupants of the car but got no answer. He approached the car and looked closer to realize the four people were dead.
Investigators said that man was related to the three children but was not their biological father.
The three children, two girls and a boy, ranged in age from elementary to middle school.
