Washington DC news, Washington news.

President Donald Trump humiliated ABC News’ Terry Moran for questioning his claim that Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador, had an “MS-13” tattoo on his knuckles.

“On his knuckles, he had ‘MS-13,’” Trump asserted during the interview marking the 100th day of his second term.

“He had some tattoos interpreted that way,” Moran said. “But let’s move on. He did not have the letters ‘M-S-1-3.’”

The President refused to move on to other topics, insisting, “It says M-S-1-3.”

Moran responded that the “MS-13” was photoshopped onto Abrego Garcia’s photograph, igniting Trump’s frustration.

  • “That was Photoshopped? Hey, they’re giving you the big break of a lifetime. You know, you’re doing the interview. I picked you because, frankly, I never heard of you. But that’s OK. But I picked you, Terry, but you’re not being very nice,” Trump said.

“He did have tattoos that could be interpreted that way. I’m not an expert on them,” Moran replied.

“Terry, Terry. No, no. He had M-S as clear as you can be. Not interpreted. This is why the people no longer believe the news because it’s fake news,” Trump responded.

As Moran insisted that photos of the man in El Salvador did not show the “M-S-13” tattoo, Trump maintained that “they’re there now.”

“It’s such a disservice. Why don’t you just say, ‘Yes, he does.’ And just go on to something else.”
