Two suspects were charged with murder after three bodies were found next to a creek in Hood County, Texas, last week.
Parker County authorities initially arrested three people in connection with the murders of Tiffany Ann Williams, 44, David Wayne Walker, 42, and Robbie Allen Head, 55, but one of the suspects has since been exonerated.
The three victims were reported missing from their home in Granbury on April 21. A concerned family member found the home in disarray and the Ring security doorbell missing and called 911.
Police found spent shell casings and a large amount of blood inside the victims’ home, with evidence suggesting a “bloodletting event” had been discovered in the victims’ vehicle parked outside the home.
The bodies were discovered on April 24 near a creek along FM 167 in Hood County. The three victims were fatally shot, and the two men were covered in fabric.
A bloody fingerprint on the vehicle’s door led investigators to 27-year-old Trin Lawrence McKnight and 19-year-old Barrett Copeland.
McKnight allegedly admitted that the three victims were killed during a burglary but blamed a third person for the crime.
The third man was found innocent and has since been released from police custody.
