Alabama authorities are asking the public’s help after discovering three sets of human remains inside a charred vehicle Thursday.
Officers responded to a non-public logging road off of Highway 155 near Montevallo over reports of a burned car.
Investigators initially thought there was just one body inside the charred vehicle. Further investigation revealed two more victims.

All skeletons were burned beyond recognition and sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science in Montgomery.
“Somebody knows these people are missing,” Sheriff John Sheron said. “We need somebody to notify us if they know anything at all.”
