Miller Township news, Pennsylvania news.

A Pennsylvania woman was found dead at her front yard with three pit bulls running loose around her in a gruesome mauling incident, state police said.

60-year-old Rhoda Wagner was attacked by her roommates’ three pit bulls as she tried to break up a fight. A passerby called 911 to report her death.

When officers arrived at the Miller Township residence, two pit bulls stood around Wagner’s body. They have since been euthanized.

“Rhoda was a special person that would do anything for anybody and she lived her animals,” Carla Mae Snow who owns the dogs told reporters.

About the dogs that had mauled her friend to death, Snow said that Wagner would have opposed their execution.

“I know if she would be alive today, we should not want to see pit bulls to be brought down any more than they already are. She loves her dogs. She was always sending us pictures of her dogs, taking a nap with her or babying her when she’s sick.”
