A Virginia man is behind bars after he allegedly rammed his car into pedestrians killing a woman Monday night.
Daniel N. Anderson reportedly stormed out of his Chesterfield home after arguing with his father and intentionally struck a couple killing 42-year-old Shaunda Bizzell.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that Anderson, of the 2700 block of Amherst Ridge Loop, intentionally steered his vehicle toward the pedestrians,” police said.
Anderson then called authorities, “identified himself, and made multiple threatening statements, including threats to shoot a school, bomb a building, and assault police officers.”
“Investigators arrested Anderson and charged him with second-degree murder, malicious wounding, making threats of death or bodily injury, and making threats to bomb or damage buildings.”
The suspect’s father said that his son, who has a history of mental problems, was having an “episode” when he left the home adding that he was unaware Anderson took the keys to the car.
