A Texas attorney was shot to death Saturday when he intervened in a dispute involving an angry customer and employees at a Houston-area McDonald’s.
The customer quickly turned his fury to Jeffrey Limmer, 46, who tried to cool the situation down.
The man went to his blue Ford pickup truck and retrieved a gun he used to shoot the attorney to death.
Police said that the suspect fled the scene and it remains unclear if he has since been apprehended.
The dispute started when the customer demanded a refund complaining about his order.
Limmer’s sister said her brother was a regular at the fast food restaurant and loved helping others.
“A good Samaritan who is trying to do the right thing and not letting those employees at McDonalds go through that,” she added.
