An Alabama man still recovering from injuries he sustained in a crash earlier this month was charged with murder.
Mobile County authorities believe 21-year-old Keeman Marcellus Tover had shot a woman dead inside the car and was ejected before the Dec. 1 crash on Ann Street.
The victim was later identified as 20-year-old Tamichael Latrice Brown. She was found dead inside the wrecked vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
Tover, who sustained severe injuries after being thrown from the car, allegedly told detectives Brown had shot herself but they believe he shot the victim during a verbal altercation that preceded the crash.
The suspect was charged with murder but was not booked into Mobile Metro Jail due to the severity of his injuries.
