Martin County news, Florida news.

An Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University professor chose to end his life rather than face charges of leaving the scene of a DUI crash that occurred last week.

James Solti, 57, went missing after he rear-ended a truck on April 17 and then fled the scene without rendering aid to his injured passenger, Cassie Harrison.

“[Solti] is missing because he was driving drunk and left a woman to die in the car,” Harrison’s daughter said.
