An Ohio man was fatally shot by his neighbor, who then took his own life on Wednesday, Cleveland Police said.
Officers responded to the shooting outside of the 50-year-old man’s home on Munn Road around 1:30 pm.
The victim was shot and killed while mowing the lawn. The suspected gunman took off in his car but was located just minutes away from the scene.
Police said the suspect was found dead inside the vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Neighbors said the victim and suspect lived near each other.
“He was a great neighbor, he was a great guy”, a neighbor said of the victim.
The suspect was reportedly known to cause issues in the neighborhood.
“He had continuous problems, everybody did in the neighborhood with this neighbor,” another resident added.
