Louisiana man with ‘hatred for law enforcement’ intentionally rams vehicle into officer on motorcycle

A Louisiana sergeant was left in “extremely critical condition” after he was intentionally struck by a suspect with a deep hatred for law enforcement.

Sgt. Caleb Eisworth was heading home on Monday when 41-year-old Gad Black rammed his Ford F-150 into the officer’s motorcycle.

The 23-year veteran of the force was knocked off his marked police motorcycle and suffered two broken legs and a broken arm.

  • Black allegedly bragged about his act on social media before his arrest. He also reportedly admitted to following Eisworth and alluded to his hatred for police.

    Black’s girlfriend was also arrested on obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder of a police officer.

    She allegedly refused to provide detectiveswith Black’s location as police looked for him.
