A Florida man is dead after he was fatally struck by two vehicles while running across a turnpike late Saturday.
The 30-year-old came out running from the woodline into the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike at around 9 p.m.

He was fatally struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander and a 2016 Chevy Silverado near SR-417, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Authorities identified the victim as a Hollywood, Florida man. He died at the scene.
The involved drivers remained at the scene. They were reportedly not harmed.
