New York City news, New York news.

Authorities in New York are looking for a man in connection with the death of a 26-year-old woman found with a fatal neck injury late Thursday.

Police in Buffalo alerted the NYPD to the crime after the woman’s 32-year-old boyfriend informed them that she was dead at the Brooklyn address.

Officers responded to the two-family home on New York Avenue in Midwood at around 9 p.m. and found the victim dead in the basement.

The basement is reportedly subdivided into single, rental rooms. The victim was found in one of the rooms, where she “occasionally” stayed, with a fatal neck injury.
