Three people were injured in a shooting outside a Joliet apartment complex late Thursday, authorities said.
The three men were shot outside the Riverwalk Homes Apartments in the 300 block of North Broadway Street just before 10 p.m.
Police responded to a call about a large gathering and overheard gunshots being fired near the Broadway Street entrance.
A 30-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to both legs, while a 32-year-old man was shot in the right leg, and a 45-year-old man was shot in the left leg.
The first victim was listed in critical condition. The two others have since stabilized.
Police said two of the injured were involved in the shooting and are being guarded at the hospital.
Two vehicles were damaged in the incident, and a gun was recovered at the scene.
