At least 12 people were shot, including one fatally, after gunfire broke out at a party at a North Carolina home Sunday morning.
The shooting occurred at a residence on Walnut Acres Drive near Highway 127 in Catawba County at around 12:45 a.m.

Police said 12 people were shot, including one who succumbed to their injuries and another who was listed in critical condition.
A witness said the shooting happened at a “pool party, mostly outside, and appeared to be random.”
