3 sisters found dead days after vanishing with father during scheduled visitation

Authorities on Tuesday said that the three sisters who vanished after a scheduled visitation with their father Friday evening were found dead.

Travis Decker, 32, disappeared with his daughters, Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5, after they left for the three-hour visitation Friday at around 5 p.m. in Decker’s 2017 white GMC Sierra pickup truck.

    The girls’ mother, Decker’s ex-wife, had said that she was worried about her daughters because of their father’s troubled mental health.

    She said the man “really struggled since he left the military,” adding that “his mental health can be hard sometimes.”
