Wrestling superstar R-Truth released from WWE

Longtime wrestling superstar R-Truth announced on social media that he has been released from the WWE after 17 years with the company.

“I’m sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE,” the wrestler posted on X.

    Just a few days ago, the 53-year-old wrestled his “childhood hero” John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Florida.

    R-Truth is one of the last remaining active stars of the Attitude Era in the scene and one of the longest tenured veterans of the roster. He had been with the company since 2008.
