Two men were killed late Wednesday when their car crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler on U.S. 67 in Dallas.
Officers responded to the scene on the northbound lanes of the freeway at Wheatland Road just before midnight.

The two victims were discovered deceased inside their heavily damaged vehicle.
The 18-wheeler’s driver was not injured. Detectives believe the car was speeding when it slammed into the back of the truck.
Police said a third person was in the car but fled from the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
