A Florida death row inmate was executed Thursday for the killings of two women, although he claimed responsibility for up to 70 murders.
62-year-old Glen Edward Rogers, who was dubbed the “Casanova Killer”, was executed at Florida State Prison on Thursday.
He was convicted of killing Tina Marie Cribbs, 34, and Sandra Gallagher, within weeks in 1995.

The murderer was linked to more killings in several states but was not convicted in any of those cases.
He had claimed he killed more than 70 people, but investigators considered his claims exaggerated.
Rogers was known as the “Casanova Killer” for luring women to his car before killing them.
