Seven people were wounded, including two in critical condition, after a shooting in a South Dallas neighborhood, police said late Thursday.
Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 2700 block of Lenway Street near the corner of South Malcolm X and Twyman Avenue at around 8 p.m.
Once at the scene, officers located seven individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

Investigators said the shooter was unknown to the victims. What led to the shooting remains unclear.
The victims were rushed to an area hospital, where two were listed in critical condition.
