Los Angeles news, California news.

President Donald Trump blasted the California government as “incompetent” after he deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles amid the ongoing unrest.

The move came after days of rowdy demonstrations that saw protesters hurling flaming objects at officers and setting cars on fire, expressing opposition to raids on undocumented migrants across the city.

“We are going to bring the National Guard in tonight. We are making Los Angeles safer,” Trump’s Immigration Chief Tom Homan said Saturday.

“2000 officers, 2000 in our city, will not be a positive thing and will not be helpful.”
