Yellowstone County news, Montana news.

A Montana man has been charged with murder after he allegedly drugged an amputee and burned him alive last weekend.

James A. Hosey, 32, reportedly called a friend in Michigan and admitted to killing 62-year-old Michael Lee Huston.

Yellowstone County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to a fire at a mobile home at around 7 a.m. Saturday, and discovered Huston’s body.

“Evidence at the scene indicated that foul play was likely a factor in the death,” the sheriff said.

Hosey allegedly told a gas station attendant that he had tied someone up and set him on fire. The suspect reportedly told his friend that he killed Huston over comments he made about a 13-year-old girl.

“So I went over and got him high, on the brink of passing out, tied him up, beat his ass and poured gas in the house and set fire to him,” Hosey allegedly said.
