Ohio high school lacrosse player died after suffering head injury during game

An Ohio high school lacrosse player succumbed to a head injury he sustained during an away game on Tuesday.

Dylan Veselic sustained the fatal injury during the game at Olmsted Falls High School when an opponent tried a shot on goal and struck the teen’s head.

    “Dylan was a dedicated student and athlete, and we are heartbroken by this loss.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with Dylan’s family and friends during this time,” School Superintendent Scot Prebles said.
